内容摘要:

This study shows that incorporating laboratory-synthesized and commercial graphene oxide (GO) obtained from CGT improved the overall rheological properties of cement paste and the mechanical and durability properties of cement mortar. The best performance of GO-embedded mortar was observed with the optimum addition of 0.03% w.r.t. to the weight of cement. The influence of GO on the properties was determined through the micro-structural and chemical characterization of lab-produced and commercial GO. XRD, SEM+EDX, BET and TGA analysis was conducted to justify the reasons for the improvement in the properties of mortar. In addition, due to the slight instability of GO with age, the impact of GO’s age on the properties of cement mortar was also studied. The nanosheets and mortar were characterized to determine the reasons behind the change in performance.
